Album Notes & Community Reviews

Viagra Boys' debut album 'Street Worms' is a blast of raw, experimental post-punk built on churning bass lines, frantic drumming, and searing saxophone flourishes. Vocalist Sebastian Murphy delivers sardonic, half-spoken narratives that satirize the absurdities of hyper-masculinity and modern life with dark, confrontational humor. The production, handled by Daniel Fagerstr枚m and Pelle Gunnerfeldt, captures a grimy yet sharp sound that balances chaotic energy with moments of groovy, synth-laden texture, establishing the band as a potent and unique force.
