Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing their streak of high-octane rock and roll, the group's sophomore effort leans heavily into a gritty, funk-inflected rhythm and blues swagger. The dynamic vocal interplay between Robert Palmer and Elkie Brooks remains the focal point, driving through upbeat, blue-eyed soul numbers and swaggering blues-rock jams. It effectively captures the robust, bar-band energy that made them a formidable live presence.
