Recrudece

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded rapidly under significant public backlash following the band's refusal to participate in the 'Festival of Latin American Solidarity' during the Falklands War, this sophomore record is a masterclass in subversive, angular new wave. 'Recrudece' utilizes jagged, jittery rhythms and Federico Moura's ironic, sophisticated lyricism to critique the Argentine military regime and mainstream societal complacency. It firmly established them as pioneers of modern rock en español.
