Album Notes & Community Reviews

Sasu Ripatti, operating under his most famous moniker, steps away from pure digital manipulation to incorporate acoustic instrumentation alongside prominent guest musicians like Craig Armstrong. The resulting tracks blend glitchy electronic micro-rhythms with mournful piano and heavily processed dub-techno atmospheres. The album masterfully balances the warmth of live improvisation with the frigid, mechanical aesthetic of Northern European electronica.
