Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'LUST 1', the enigmatic Voice Actor project, led by Noa Kurzweil, collaborates with producer squu for a focused exploration of intimate, dream-state electronics. The album merges a foggy, lo-fi pulse with elements of deconstructed dub-techno, built upon squu's textural and uncertain production. Kurzweil's signature whispered vocals are often chopped and processed into rhythmic, hypnotic layers, conveying a sense of sensuality and emotional precision over clear narrative within the hazy, ambient soundscapes.
