Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut album by Von Thronstahl, 'Imperium Internum' presents Josef Maria Klumb's Martial Industrial project in full-length form, its ceremonial sound built from orchestral samples, martial percussion, choral textures and spoken passages. Aired publicly at the Wave Gotik Treffen after the group was barred from performing there, the record codifies the project's ritualistic formal vocabulary.
