Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded entirely in his home studio, 'Mutineer' is a deeply personal, relatively lo-fi entry in Warren Zevon's extensive singer-songwriter catalog. The album heavily utilizes early digital synthesizers and drum machines, framing his trademark cynical wit and profound storytelling within a distinctly idiosyncratic pop-rock aesthetic. It stands as a fascinating, highly intimate glimpse into his independent recording process.
