Album Notes & Community Reviews
Warren Zevon assembled 'The Envoy' after the Who hiatus, drawing on guest contributions from Eagles members and Jackson Browne. The album sharpens his sardonic commentary on politics and celebrity through tighter piano-driven arrangements. It continues his tradition of blending wit with melancholy in observations of American life.
