Album Notes & Community Reviews

Her debut for Merge Records, 'Ivy Tripp' is a more sonically adventurous and experimental album. While still rooted in her signature fuzzy indie rock, the record incorporates a wider palette of sounds, including vintage keyboards, drum machines, and psychedelic textures. It's a deeply introspective and often melancholic work that finds Katie Crutchfield exploring new creative directions with confidence and curiosity.
