Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Fantastic' marks the incredibly confident, high-energy debut of the British pop duo, arriving firmly at the intersection of post-disco, synth-funk, and burgeoning MTV pop culture. Driven largely by George Michael's powerful, soulful vocals and undeniable songwriting talent, the album effortlessly topped the UK charts. The irrepressibly bouncy singles like 'Young Guns (Go for It!)' and 'Club Tropicana' perfectly encapsulated the hedonistic, youthful optimism of the era.
