Album Notes & Community Reviews

Yoni Wolf's deeply idiosyncratic project continues its fascinating evolution away from traditional underground hip-hop toward dense, highly orchestrated pop music. The album heavily features sweeping choirs, string arrangements, and complex xylophone patterns, providing a lush backdrop for his signature nasal, hyper-literal rap-singing style. The intensely cynical, often humorous lyrics tackle profound themes of mortality, aging, and deep-seated neuroses.
