Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a significant milestone as his debut solo mixtape following formative success with the hip-hop group Ratking, 'Lil Me' serves as a sprawling, hyper-local portrait of New York City life. The project features an extensive roster of underground producers, including Sporting Life, Kaytranada, and Madlib, who provide a diverse sonic backdrop of gritty breaks and erratic synth patterns. Through intense, dextrous vocal deliveries, the emcee navigates themes of youthful excess, regional pride, and personal insecurity.
