Sourced entirely from decades-old tape loops discovered in his expansive personal archives, the ambient pioneer constructs a mournful, haunting reflection on loss and decay. The loops feature decaying operatic vocals and degraded classical instrumentation, slowed down and repeated into hypnotic, melancholic oblivion. Released during a time of global grief, its themes of inevitable erosion felt exceptionally timely and profound.
