Mayan Space Station

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The legendary bassist leads an unconventional guitar trio configuration alongside electric guitarist Ava Mendoza and drummer Gerald Cleaver. The recording leans heavily into dense, distortion-fueled jazz fusion, blending the fierce improvisational spirit of the avant-garde with the cosmic energy of psychedelic space rock. The project highlights a surprisingly aggressive and riff-oriented aspect of Parker's expansive compositional vision.
