Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Hal Willner, this eclectic spoken-word project sets the legendary Beat Generation author's iconic, gravelly readings against diverse musical backdrops. Featuring contributions from John Cale, Sonic Youth, and Donald Fagen, the record brilliantly contextualizes his surreal, satirical texts for the alternative 90s audience.
