Album Notes & Community Reviews

Releasing his remarkable sixty-first studio album mere days before his 84th birthday, the iconic country music outlaw confronts his own mortality with sharp wit and poignant reflection. The tracking leans on lush, slow-paced acoustic arrangements produced by long-time collaborator Buddy Cannon, featuring his signature, nylon-string acoustic guitar picking. The record serves as a deeply honest, warmly nostalgic reflection on aging and legacy.
