Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released mere days before his 85th birthday, this collection of entirely original material finds the outlaw country legend meditating on mortality, outliving his peers, and his enduring love for music. Co-written with producer Buddy Cannon, the album balances poignant, acoustic balladry with upbeat, humor-laced western swing.
