Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived as a heartfelt tribute to his musical hero Lefty Frizzell, this charming covers album showcases Willie Nelson's immense interpretative skills. The stripped-down, traditional honky-tonk arrangements allow Nelson's mellow, romantic vocal phrasing and unique acoustic guitar picking to take center stage. The record stands as a pure, melodic homage to the fundamental roots of country music.
