Album Notes & Community Reviews

Functioning as a loosely narrative concept album concerning reincarnation and historical gunfighter mythology, 'Tougher Than Leather' finds the outlaw country legend exploring highly philosophical themes. The notably sparse, acoustic-driven instrumentation perfectly frames Nelson's uniquely conversational vocal delivery and seasoned guitar work.
