Album Notes & Community Reviews

As the eighth studio album by Wipers, 'The Herd' continues the stripped-back, dual-instrumentation setup of mastermind Greg Sage and drummer Steve Plouf. Written, recorded, and produced entirely at Sage's home studio, the record delivers a direct, guitar-heavy approach that showcases his soaring lead work and tense vocal phrasing. It represents a matured, introspective iteration of alternative rock, balancing clean pop hooks with the band's traditional post-punk anxiety.
