Album Notes & Community Reviews

Breaking an eight-year recording silence, multi-instrumentalist D. reactivates Woods of Desolation with an emphasis on triumphant, sweeping melodies. 'The Falling Tide' retains the harsh, raspy vocal delivery inherent to atmospheric black metal but anchors its compositions in shimmering, delay-drenched chord progressions.
