Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Brooklyn-based indie-folk staples drastically expand their sonic palette for their ninth studio album. Distancing themselves from lo-fi acoustic strumming, the band incorporates heavy reggae influences, prominent horn sections inspired by Ethio-jazz, and slinky, groove-oriented basslines. It stands as a vibrant, deeply psychedelic evolution of their established campfire-folk sound.
