Biography
Woods are a Brooklyn folk rock band formed in 2005 by Jeremy Earl and Jarvis Taveniere. Across twelve albums on Earl's #Woodsist# label, from 'Songs of Shame' (2009) and 'At Echo Lake' (2010) to 'Perennial' (2023), they have moved from lo-fi campfire folk toward psychedelic, jazz-touched jams. Former bassist Kevin Morby left in 2013; the current band adds John Andrews, Chuck Van Dyck and Kyle Forester.
