Album Notes & Community Reviews

As a defining statement of the 1980s jazz resurgence, 'Think of One' highlights the trumpeter's unparalleled technical command and deep reverence for acoustic tradition. Backed by a stellar quintet featuring his brother Branford, Marsalis effectively reestablished the intellectual rigor of hard bop for a new generation.
