Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Open to Misinterpretation' continues Xasthur's definitive shift away from black metal into the realm of desolate, acoustic dark folk. Spearheaded by Scott Conner, the album relies on complex fingerpicking, bleak Americana influences, and grim, introspective lyricism.
