Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'The Dead Sea', John Twells (Xela) abandons his earlier rhythmic electronica to craft deeply unsettling, electroacoustic horrorscapes. Integrating processed acoustic instrumentation and dense drone layers, the album takes stylistic cues from classic cinematic suspense scores. The resulting atmosphere is claustrophobic, immersive, and persistently ominous.
