Album Notes & Community Reviews

Jamie Stewart confronts self-loathing and body image issues with unflinching honesty on this experimental pop album. 'Dear God, I Hate Myself' contrasts dark, disturbing lyrics with chiptune synths and catchy melodies using a Nintendo DS. It is a harrowing yet strangely accessible entry in Xiu Xiu's discography.
