Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released the same year as 'BGM', Yellow Magic Orchestra’s 'Technodelic' pushes the band's pioneering use of digital sampling into incredibly dense, highly experimental territory. The album weaves chopped vocal loops, factory noises, and custom-built LMD-649 sampler trickery over heavy, mechanical synth-pop grooves, creating a profoundly futuristic, surreal, and anxious sonic landscape.
