Following his first two instrumental releases, the French multi-instrumentalist prominently incorporated Dominique A on vocals for several tracks, expanding his cinematic sonic palette. The intricate use of accordion, toy piano, and sweeping strings laid the absolute foundational aesthetic that would later define his iconic score for the film 'Amélie'.
