Album Notes & Community Reviews

With Jeff Beck operating as the sole lead guitarist, the Yardbirds pushed the boundaries of studio feedback, Gregorian chant parodies, and heavy distortion. Officially self-titled but known by its cover art, the record serves as an evolutionary link between Chicago blues imitations and British psychedelia.
