Consolamentum

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking the twentieth anniversary of the French instrumental sextet, 'Consolamentum' offers an immense, cinematic take on apocalyptic post-metal. The project harnesses the power of multiple drum kits and layered guitars to construct crushing, doom-laden crescendos. It stands as a masterful exercise in tension and release, driven entirely by monumental, wordless heaviness.
