Album Notes & Community Reviews
Continuing his mastery of environmental music (kanky艒 ongaku), the Japanese composer presents the second installment of works commissioned for Tokyo's Spiral building. The soundscape is remarkably peaceful, soft, and minimalist, utilizing digital synthesis to enhance physical architecture. The ethereal, impressionistic approach solidified his status as a leading architect of 1980s Japanese ambient sound.
