Synchromysticism

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The St. Louis-based instrumental trio delivers a terrifyingly complex masterclass in brutal prog and extreme math rock. The album relies entirely on incredibly dense, polyrhythmic drumming and dual-guitar dissonance, avoiding traditional song structures or melodies in favor of relentless, atonal momentum. It stands as an exhausting, highly mathematical assault on the senses that solidified their legendary status in the avant-rock underground.
