Album Notes & Community Reviews
The eternally restless multi-reedist leans heavily into polished, rhythmic jazz-funk, frequently utilizing synthesizers and electric bass[cite: 1]. Despite the commercial crossover aesthetics, his improvisational prowess on the tenor saxophone and flute remains incredibly sharp, seamlessly integrating his hard bop pedigree with Latin funk grooves[cite: 1].
