Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed by ex-Magma members Yochk'o Seffer and Fran莽ois Cahen, Zao's 'Shekina' pushes the intense, rhythmic complexity of Zeuhl into significantly warmer, more melodic jazz-fusion territory. The album replaces Magma's militaristic darkness with lush electric piano, soaring violin work, and intricately soaring, wordless female vocals.
