Notably featuring the extraordinary guitar talents of a young Tommy Bolin and the Joplin-esque wail of Candy Givens, the record showcases a band with immense, though volatile, potential. Bolin would depart shortly after its release to pursue high-profile gigs in jazz-fusion and heavy metal.
