Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the departure of founding guitarist Tommy Bolin, 'Sunset Ride' finds the Colorado-based ensemble navigating toward a more atmospheric, song-oriented approach to blues rock. The production smooths out their earlier hard-edged psychedelia, incorporating subtle jazz and soft rock inflections that frame Candy Givens' powerful vocals. The album represents a distinct stylistic pivot, striving for broader accessibility during a transitional period for the group.
