36 & zakè

Biography

36 & zakè is the joint billing of British ambient producer Dennis Huddleston, who records as 36, and American producer Zach Frizzell, who records as zakè. Their 'Stasis Sounds for Long-Distance Space Travel' series, begun in 2020 on #Past Inside the Present#, is a landmark of modern drone and space ambient. Frizzell is the founder of the Past Inside the Present label, and the pair's collaboration grew from mutual admiration between two of ambient music's most respected solo catalogues.
