Biography
Abigail Williams is an American black metal band formed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2004 and led throughout its history by singer and guitarist Ken Sorceron. Early records such as 'In the Shadow of a Thousand Suns' (2008) mixed symphonic black metal with metalcore, while 'In the Absence of Light' (2010), 'Becoming' (2012) and 'The Accuser' (2015) moved toward a purer, atmospheric black metal. Later albums 'Walk Beyond the Dark' (2019) and 'A Void Within Existence' (2025) continued that evolution despite constant line-up turnover around Sorceron.
