Biography
London jazz punk quartet led by saxophonist Pete Wareham with drummer Sebastian Rochford, Acoustic Ladyland mixed jazz improvisation with punk energy and heavy riffs. Albums such as 'Last Chance Disco' and 'Skinny Grin' made them central figures in the British *F-IRE Collective* scene before they split in 2010, with members moving on to *Melt Yourself Down*. Their farewell concerts in December 2010 closed a short but influential career in modern British jazz.
