Agatus

Biography

Greek black metal band formed in Athens in 1991 by brothers Eskarth the Dark One and Archon Vorskaath, also members of *Zemial*. Agatus made the Hellenic black metal landmark 'Dawn of Martyrdom' (1996), then continued as a duo from Australia with 'The Weaving Fates' (2002) and 'The Eternalist' (2016), an epic, heavy-metal-inflected take on the Greek style that has kept the band a cult name for three decades.
