Biography
Springfield, Massachusetts grindcore band formed in 1994 around guitarist and drum programmer Scott Hull, the group's only permanent member, with vocalist Jay Randall a constant since the debut album. Agoraphobic Nosebleed replaced a live drummer with a drum machine at extreme tempos, making brevity a signature: 'Altered States of America' (2003) fits one hundred songs into under twenty-two minutes. Vocalists Richard Johnson and Carl Schultz also feature across the #Relapse Records# catalogue, from 'Honky Reduction' (1998) to 'Agorapocalypse' (2009).
