Alan Sorrenti

Biography

Alan Sorrenti is a Neapolitan singer-songwriter whose 'Aria' (1972) is a classic of Italian progressive rock, before a late-1970s reinvention brought the pop hit 'Figli delle stelle' (1977) and a Eurovision appearance in 1980. His soaring voice links both eras of a singular career. He continues to perform both his progressive and pop repertoires, more than fifty years after his debut.
