Biography
Ampere are a screamo band from Amherst, Massachusetts, formed in 2002 by Will Killingsworth, Meghan Minior, Stephen Pierce and Andy Skelly. Their songs compress hardcore into bursts often under a minute, balanced by melodic quiet passages and political lyrics. The unchanged quartet released 'All Our Tomorrows End Today' in 2004 and 'Like Shadows' in 2011, and the band remains a reference point for modern screamo.
