Ana Roxanne

Ana Roxanne is an American musician and singer known for her unique synthesis of ambient, dream pop, choral music, and experimental soundscapes. Raised in the Bay Area, her work is influenced by a diverse range of sources, including Catholic choirs, 80s and 90s R&B, and Hindustani classical singing. Her music often explores themes of gender identity, spirituality, and self-concept, informed by her experience as an intersex person. After her self-released debut EP '~~~' was reissued by #Leaving Records# in 2019, she signed to #Kranky# for her acclaimed full-length album, 'Because of a Flower' (2020), which solidified her reputation for creating deeply atmospheric and emotionally resonant music.
