Biography

Apparat is the project of Sascha Ring, a German electronic musician born in Quedlinburg and based in Berlin, where he co-ran the label #Shitkatapult#. Moving from techno toward glitch, ambient and song-based work on albums like 'Walls' and 'The Devil's Walk', he also forms one third of Moderat with *Modeselektor* and has collaborated with *Ellen Allien*. His music for the series Dark reached a worldwide audience.
