Biography
Dan Snaith, a Canadian musician and mathematics PhD, records intricate electronic music as Caribou, having started out under the name *Manitoba*. Albums such as 'Andorra' (2007), the Polaris Prize winner, 'Swim' (2010) and 'Our Love' (2014) move between psychedelic pop, house and sample-based songwriting, while his *Daphni* alias handles straighter dancefloor material. His records layer live drums, flute and vocals over dense programmed textures, and his live band translates the studio detail into a four-piece performance.
