Archimedes Badkar

Biography

Swedish fusion band Archimedes Badkar, founded by Per Tjernberg in 1972, released four albums in the 1970s mixing jazz, Swedish folk and African and Indian rhythms, with drummer Bengt Berger among its members. Part of Stockholm's progressive jazz milieu, the band reunited decades later to record the double album 'Perfect Time'. The four original albums appeared between 1975 and 1979 on Swedish independent labels.
