Biography
Arena is a British neo-progressive rock band founded in 1995 by keyboardist Clive Nolan and drummer Mick Pointer. Nolan writes the band's lyrics and, with Pointer and guitarist John Mitchell, anchors a lineup that has featured several vocalists, currently Damian Wilson. From the debut 'Songs from the Lions Cage' and the concept album 'The Visitor' to 'Contagion', 'Pepper's Ghost' and 'Double Vision', Arena combine symphonic keyboards, hard-rock guitars and theatrical storytelling, and are regarded as one of the leading British progressive acts of their generation.
