Biography
Astrobrite is the solo shoegaze project of Scott Cortez of *Lovesliescrushing*, begun in 1993. His home recorded walls of guitar noise and candy coated melody surfaced on 'Crush' in 2001, and Japanese label #Vinyl Junkie# carried the project through 'Pinkshinyultrablast', 'Whitenoise Superstar' and 'Deluxer'. Touring bands have formed around Cortez over the years, but Astrobrite's records remain essentially his one man creation.
